The Watergate Hotel presents an exclusive 10-seat omakase experience with Michelin-starred Nobu Yamazaki of Sushi Taro. Sushi Taro is the oldest authentic Japanese restaurant in Washington, DC, with one Michelin star four years in a row, and a spot on the Opinionated About Dining (OAD) Top 100.

Nobu originally trained for three years in Japan as a sushi chef and inherited the family business from his parents. He transformed the restaurant into a high-end authentic Japanese restaurant with an omakase counter. Nobu was a semifinalist for the James Beard Mid-Atlantic Region Chef, and is president of the Washington, DC Sushi Society.

Chef Nobu crafts a 15-course culinary journey, blending Japanese tradition with global influences, culminating with a decadent dessert. Each bite is a testament to precision and artistry.

Two seatings are available each evening at 6 PM & 8:15 PM -  $150 per person + 10% DC tax + 20% Gratuity.
